Antonio Maria Magenta was born in Rome on 13 September 1970.
Since October 2016 he has been Flash Fiber’s Market & Sales Manager.
From 2002 to 2015 he worked for Telecom Italia, where he held various different managerial positions in regard to the management of the company’s National Wholesale business.
From 2015 to 2016 he was head of the Process & Procedures Design & Engineering Area, which deals with designing the processes pertaining to TIM’s Wholesale commercial area and with governing IT developments for the services offered. During that period, he acted as the commercial Focal Point for the IT Transformation project relating to TIM’s New Equivalence Model.
From 2010 to 2014 he was Head of Segment Sales, dealing with various different portfolios of Wholesale Clients (firstly the Medium-Small segment and then the Large-Top segment).
From 2006 to 2009 he was Marketing Manager for the non-regulated wholesale fixed and mobile network services.
From 2002 to 2005 he dealt with the Commercial Planning of the Wholesale Mobile business, within the context of the Interconnection and Access area.
Before joining the Telecom Group, he was involved in the start up of Blu S.p.A. following the consultancy project concerning the tender procedure for the fourth mobile telephone service operator (1999-2002); in that context, he first dealt with questions of interconnection and national roaming, before being put in charge of the International Roaming area.
With a first-class honours degree in Telecommunications Engineering, he began his career in 1997 as a management consultant with STS Consulting, a firm set up by a group of lecturers and professors from the Engineering Faculty of Rome’s “La Sapienza” University. This was followed by diverse experiences in the telecommunications and media field, regarding the Defence sector, digital TV and mobile telephone systems.
